SUMMARY:Making Meaning\, Shaping Legacy: The Evolution of a Sculpture
DESCRIPTION:Join artist Adriana Caso for a gallery conversation and hands-on art-making experience inspired by the evolution of one of her sculptures. \n\n\n\nAs part of the 25 Years of Impact\, Caso will guide participants through the development of the sculpture\, sharing its history\, early ideas\, drawings\, models\, and creative decisions that continue to shape the work. Following the gallery discussion\, participants will be invited to explore their own ideas by creating a drawing or small sculpture\, reflecting on how art evolves and how each person’s creative voice can help carry stories and legacies forward. \n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public.  Free parking is available on city streets and lots throughout the walkable downtown neighborhood of Hudson\, Ohio.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdriana Caso earned her BFA in Painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art and completed a dual master’s program in Painting and Sculpture at Rosary College in Florence\, Italy. An experienced public artist\, she is the founder and director of Door 2 Art Studio. \n\n\n\nAdriana creates art rooted in love\, kindness\, and community. She believes beauty can address difficult issues\, awaken joy\, and bring people together. Her work often includes unexpected\, participatory elements that invite curiosity\, spark delight\, and create connection through visual storytelling. \n\n\n\nThrough her studio practice\, public art\, and work at Door 2\, Adriana champions beauty as timeless\, hopeful\, and able to cross barriers of culture\, language\, race\, and generation. Door 2 carries that vision forward by honoring individual creative voices and nurturing a community of artists and makers.
